New this year

The Friends of Highland Arts (FHA) is sponsoring an artist supervised community art project that will take place throughout the weekend. Currently, there are basic plywood panels on the exterior windows of the historic Highland Park Pool House. FHA, in partnership with St. Paul Parks & Recreation, will encourage members of the community to come out and help paint colorful panels to be installed in place of the old, blank ones.

FHA advocates for the rehabilitation of this building which is located in the heart of Highland to become a "place for all members of the community to experience art" with a small cafe and entertainment space (performance art).
